Introduction: Kayleigh Zemaitis

Hi everyone! My name is Kayleigh Zemaitis and I am a Sociology major with an HR minor. This is my final semester of my undergraduate career, as I will be graduating in December! I am incredibly excited to graduate because I have received a job offer from my internship this summer. I interned at an auto finance company in Dallas, Texas in their Human Relations department. I was able to work in and learn about each aspect of Human Relations. There were days where I would work in recruiting where I would be phone screening potential candidates for various positions within the company. Then there were days I would work in the training aspect of Human Relations. I really found something I love to do during my time working with training. I was able to assist in the creation of content for various aspects of the company, such as general compliance and topic specific to people who worked in customer service on the phones. Week 2 Story: The Turtle and The King

A turtle sat still near the edge of the water, observing all the new fish that had been added to his lake. He had been the only creature inhabiting this lake, so it was nice to have some new company. No one ever even came near the lake before this day. A few human boys began walking toward the lake. The turtle had never seen creatures like them before, but did not feel as if they were a threat because they quickly ran back into the woods after seeing him. He thought that perhaps they were afraid of him because of the way they ran off. He shut his eyes and began to rest after they left.
