Karma for Kids: Stories for Your Unruly Children
The title of this story is what originally led me to want to view this. This story topic is something I did not think I would know anything about, as I did not know what to expect. The introduction does not do the best job of explaining what the story will be about because the introduction jumps right into the story. However, this made me want to keep reading this story to figure out what was going on with the children in the story. The physical layout of this story made it easy to read and was simple to navigate. Although, the images on the stories never seemed to be the correct size for the layout. Some of them that are in the middle of all the text are so large that it fills up your entire screen, and some are so small that it is difficult to understand what the image is of.
Yama's Tattoo Parlor
The introduction and title give a very transparent explanation of what the story is about. I enjoyed that the story is written in first person, as it gives a more in depth look and interesting perspective. It also made the introduction incredibly intriguing. The topic interested me, but is not something I am familiar with in the Indian culture nor my own because I am afraid of needles. However, the story focuses more on henna tattoos. The physical layout of the story is a little busy, but is easy to navigate. The use of photos in this story is excellent; they are well placed and sized.
Animal Cruise
I was interested in this story because of the title, as I had no idea what this topic would actually be about. The introduction of this story was the most interesting one out of all the stories I viewed. It speaks directly to the reader, which makes it feel personal. Through the title and introduction, my confusion of what the story would be about was taken away. The layout of this story is well done. It is easy to navigate and go through the different parts of the story. Really the only thing I found to be an issue were the photos. The photos having sizing and placement issues, as they take up a lot of unnecessary space.

I am glad you looked at one of the animal projects, Kayleigh! And listen, did you happen to notice this one about the horses? It is wonderful: Horses Divine. Most of these projects were built with the old Google Sites, and just last semester Google released a totally new Google Sites system which offers a very different approach to image management, with dynamic image sizing that is responsive to the environment (mobile, tablet, monitor)... I'm guessing you will like what it has to offer in the way of design options! You can see what you think as you move on ahead in brainstorming your own project in the weeks to come. :-)
