Raymayana: This is an epic poem I found interesting because for one, I have never read an 'epic poem' before. I am also very interested in the story material as it is about as it seems almost like a fairytale type of story. A prince, Rama is forced to have to rescue his wife, Sita.
Myths of Hindus & Buddhists: I was interested in both this story and the photo shown with it of Kali. The story tells of how Kali is worshipped and seen as a mother figure for those who worship her. I found her character and story interesting, as she does not look as what some might consider a 'traditional' mother in Western culture, as she is nude and carrying a weapon.
Anjana Mata and Hanuman: I was originally interested in this set of characters when I first looked at the photo I have below posted of them. This photo led me to learning more about the story between the two. Hanuman is the son of Anjana, who she gives birth to after eating 'celestial rice pudding.'
